How essential browser storage supports professional account access and shopping.

Last updated: 13 October 2026.

What cookies do

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. This website uses essential account and shopping functions to maintain a signed-in session, check whether cookies work and preserve a basket or checkout session when those services are used.

Essential functions

  • Sign-in and account security: WordPress authentication cookies recognize an approved signed-in account. A browser compatibility cookie checks whether your browser accepts cookies.
  • Basket and checkout: WooCommerce session and basket cookies associate your basket with your session and detect changes to its contents.
  • Service protection: the hosting and security layer may use essential request or session mechanisms to protect the site and deliver the requested service.

Core names may include wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart. Which ones are present depends on your actions. Some end with the session; others persist for the sign-in or shopping session period configured by the service. You can inspect the actual expiry of cookies in your browser’s storage settings.

Optional tracking

The Syntech theme and professional account functions do not add advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Optional tracking must not be enabled without the appropriate information and consent choice. If optional services are added, this notice and the consent controls must be updated before they are used.

Your choices

You can delete stored cookies or block them using your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, basket or checkout functions. Signing out ends access to your account; on shared devices, also close the browser and avoid saving your password.

Links to external information websites take you to a separate service with its own privacy and cookie practices.
